Email Account Setup
The settings below will help you setup your email account in your email program using your domain name. Please follow the instructions completely and accurately.

Microsoft Outlook
- Please open up Microsoft Outlook.
- Click on Tools (at the top of the screen) and then Accounts.
- Okay, a box that lists the accounts will pop up.
- Click Add
- Click Mail
- You should now see a screen that asks for some user information.
- Please enter your name
- Then click next and enter your e-mail address in the spaces provided.
- Click next and then enter your email server information
- In the spaces provided type the following
- Incoming(pop3): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your domain name - example: creativenewmedia.com)
- Outgoing(smtp): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your domain name - example: creativenewmedia.com)
- Click next.
- Enter login information
- Account Name: username (substitute with name - example: info)
- Password: yourpassword
- Click next and please select the Network connection.
- On the bottom of your screen please click OK.
- You are back to the first screen, Internet Accounts
- Click properties then select the server tab at the top
- At the bottom under Outgoing Mail Server check the box that says "My server requires authentication"
- Click OK
- Close Accounts window
You are now ready to start sending and receiving e-mail.
Outlook and Outlook Express Security Setup
Use steps 14 - 18 and in Outlook and steps 11 - 15 in Outlook Express to setup sending email securely. Use the images below to see what the screens should look like.

Microsoft Outlook Express e-mail setup instructions.
- Open up Outlook Express.
- Click on tools and then accounts.
- Click on the Mail tab and then Add, Mail.
- Enter your real name or whatever you would like and then click next.
- Now enter your e-mail address which is your username@yourdomainname.com. Click next.
- Now we will enter the mail server addresses.
- Incoming(pop3): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your domain name - example: creativenewmedia.com)
- Outgoing(smtp): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your domain name - example: creativenewmedia.com)
- Outlook Express automatically places your user name in the POP account name field. If you do NOT want to have to enter your password every time you want to retrieve your e-mail enter your password here. If you want the security of password protection on your e-mail account leave this field blank. Click next.
- This is where you will enter a "friendly name" as Microsoft explains it. This can be your real name, user name, e-mail address or whatever you would like. Microsoft places yourdomainname.com in this field by default. Click next, after you have typed in your choice.
- Please select the Network connection.
- On the bottom of your screen please click OK.
- You are back to the first screen, Internet Accounts
- Click properties then select the the server tab at the top
- At the bottom under Outgoing Mail Server check the box that says "My server requires authentication"
- Click OK
- Close Accounts window
You are now ready to start sending and receiving e-mail.
Netscape Communicator 4.X and above
- Open Netscape Navigator.
- Click on edit at the top of the browser, then click on preferences.
- Click on Mail & Newsgroups and then Identity.
- Enter your name and e-mail address (username@yourdomainname.com) in the provided space.
- Click on Mail Servers and enter the information.
- Incoming(pop3): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your own for example creativenewmedia.com)
- Outgoing(smtp): yourdomainname.com (substitute with your own for example creativenewmedia.com)
- In the spaces provided for user name and password type in the name and password you gave us when signing up.
- Click OK at the bottom.
You are now ready to start sending and receiving e-mail.
Eudora Light
- Open Eudora Light
- Click on tools (top of the screen on menu bar) and then options.
- On the left of the options screen will be a column of icons.
- Please click on the Getting Started icon.
- Please type in your POP account name. This is your username@yourdomainname.com
- In the space provided for your Real Name you may type in your name or whatever you would like.
- In the Return address space please type your username@yourdomainname.com
- Please click on the Personal Info icon on the left.
- The only entry you will need to make on this screen is your username.
The rest is automatically added from the entries you made on the previous screen.
- Please click on the Hosts icon on the left of the screen.
- The only thing you will need to add here is the SMTP server address. In the space provided please type yourdomainname.com
- You may now click OK.
You are now ready to start sending and receiving e-mail
